Programming

databaseSometimes off the shelf solutions do not provide what you need - or they are so confusing that you cannot see which product would suit you best.

We can provide bespoke programs tailored to give you exactly what you need and designed to interface with your business or workflow.

At Sheerclass Computing we work with very small companies - even one-man-bands - upto medium sized companies to help you run your business better. If you feel that what you need just "isn't out there" then it is time to give us a call.

Databases

Databases underpin many real world programming activities. They can be very simple allowing you to keep track of products, customers, suppliers and crucially enable you to look at that data in a variety of ways. Entering data just once and then using it for all your activities, minimises errors, makes efficient use of time and resources, and ensures you always have what you need at your fingertips.

Databases can be created for any purpose, typical applications would include: stock control, invoicing, project management and customer databases.

At Sheerclass Computing we use SQL Server and Microsoft Access for the majority of our work. Although other products such as Paradox and dBase can also be supported if you already have a database that needs updating.

Bespoke Programming

At Sheerclass Computing we aim to provide you with a unique program which solves your particular problem as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.

Programs can be written in C#, Delphi, ASP and ASP.NET.

Bespoke programming is not just for major firms with enormous budgets, we provide you with exactly what you need. This service includes:

  • evaluation of your needs and identification of the best program or bespoke program to meet your needs
  • specification of the program including full costs
  • program design and coding
  • testing

By definition the price of such programs depend upon the complexity of the task, but we will always be focussed on delivering value for money.
